The team are based in Kerepehi, near Ngatea, in the Hauraki Plains and can service the Auckland, Coromandel, Waikato and Bay of Plenty areas. Our team take pride in the work that they do, and so do our great team of subtrades we work with. We currently have a team of four – one qualified builder, two apprentices and one office manager.
Mike became a qualified carpenter over 25 years ago. Mike has had building experience in the UK, Australia and USA. He has owned his own business for almost 20 of these years. Mike is a member of the NZ Certified Builders Association, and a Registered Licensed Building Practitioner. Mike has enjoyed working on a variety of projects over the years, from light commercial, new homes, renovations and larger projects including Springhill Prison and a TV Show called 'The Kiwi Dream' in 2011. Mike is currently a Board Member of the NZ Certified Builders Association
Janine is married to Mike and they have three children. Janine manages the office and assists with project management.
Ricky is an adult apprentice and also the 2022 Waikato Region Apprenticeship Challenge Winner! Ricky will be making his way to the November NZCB Conference inHamilton to compete for the National Apprenticeship Award. Ricky is a Kerepehi local, a team player, focussed on achieving and is also married with three children.
Korey came to us as a Gateway student from Hauraki Plains College two years ago. We were impressed with his ability to learn quickly and quietly work away to get the job done. We signed him up as an apprentice and he continues to prove himself as a valuable member of the team.
